This is the first book in a series of planned survivor memoirs and focuses entirely on Childhood Sexual Abuse survivors and their stories.
The book contains adult content and is suitable for those over 18 years of age. All profits from this book go directly to support networks for childhood sexual abuse survivors.
Sixteen Chapters….sixteen voices telling their stories of childhood sexual abuse and their healing journeys. No names are attached to any chapters and readers may find it very difficult to get through parts of the book. The content is graphic at times and the language and terminology varies due to the international contributions.
We have been silenced by our abusers; by those who didn’t believe us; by those who blamed us; and finally by legal systems that failed us. This book represents the breaking of that silence. We use the hashtag #breakingthesilenceonesentenceatatime
Our hope is to raise awareness and reach other survivors so they know that they are not alone.
